The NXP LPC2478 microcontroller (U1 on the OEM board) provided with the MCB2470 board is a high-end LPC24xx device with advanced ADC, DAC and USB capabilities.
A 12.0 MHz crystal (Y1) provides the clock signal for the CPU.
