Connecting with Serial ISP

To connect the MCB2470 Evaluation Board for serial programming, you must:

• Configure the jumpers at J14 for Flash Magic:
  • RST = ON
  • P2.10 = ON
  • TxO0 = ON
  • RxO0 = ON
• Connect power to the MCB2470 Board.
• Connect the USB cable between the PC and the UART #0 connector on the MCB2470 Board.
• Verify the COM Connection using Flash Magic.

• You must have installed an USB driver (USB Serial Port) on your PC in order for the USB-to-UART chip (FT232R) to function.
