Configuring the MCB2400

The MCB2400 Evaluation Board is configured using a number of jumper settings. The MCB2400 Board ships with the following configuration:

J19 - NAND BusyOFFNAND Busy is not connected to P2.12.
J23 - Ethernet PHYBOTH OFFP0.20 and P2.11 are not connected to PD and IRQ.
J24 - Enable JTAGONDownloading and debugging via JTAG is enabled.
J25 - Enable ETMOFFDownloading and debugging via ETM is disabled.
J26 - Analog InputsALL ONBoth potentiometers are used for ADC inputs AD0.0 and AD0.1.
J27 - MCIPWR PolarityHIGHA high signal level powers the memory card.
J30, J31 - USB Serial ConnectLEFTUART #0 connects to USB.
J33 - ISP FunctionalityRIGHTDisables In-System Programming via UART #0.
J34 - CAN SelectOFFCAN interface is not used.
J36 - RS232 UARTALL ONConnects UART #1 to the RS232 driver and the DB-9 connector at J37.
J38 - WLAN UARTALL OFFWLAN interface is not used.
J41, J42, J44-46 USB Device/HostRIGHTUSB Channel B is in Device mode.
J47 - MCIDAT0UPPERMemory card data MCIDAT0 is connected to P0.22.
J48 - VBUS SenseUPPERVBUS sense is inverted.
QVGA Settings--QVGA is not used.

Note

  • RS232 (J36) and WLAN (J38) jumper groups may not both be jumpered at the same time.
  • CAN1 and CAN2 (J34) jumper groups may not both be jumpered at the same time.

Configuring for the ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter

The default jumper settings (above) on the MCB2400 board are pre-configured for the ULINK USB-JTAG adapter.
