| Jumper DescriptionsThe jumpers used to configure the MCB2300 board are: - D-: USB Line: connect the USB Line D- to the USB connector.
- D+: USB Line: connect the USB Line D+ to the USB connector.
- J3 - AOUT: D/A Output for loudspeaker: connects the AOUT output to the LF amplifier.
- UMODE: USB Device Mode: Positioning this jumper toward the LCD display allows soft-connect of the USB device by issuing a software restart via P2.9. Positioning this jumper toward the speaker requires a power-up sequence for the USB detection.
- J6 - AD0.0: Analog Voltage for AD0.0: connects the POT1 potentiometer to the analog input AD0.0.
- J8 - INT0: Enable Push Button INT0: connects the push button INT0 to the CPU I/O pin P2.10 (INT0 input). Pushing the button generates a low signal.
- J9 - RST: Enable Reset via COM0 Port: When RST is set, you may generate a CPU RESET signal using the DTR signal of the COM0 port. An active DTR signal generates a CPU RESET.
- J10 - ISP: Enable for In-System Programming: lets the RTS line of the COM0 port generate a signal on P2.10 (INT0). When RTS is active P2.10 is driven low. This is used to enter In-System Programming (ISP) mode.
- J11 - LED: Enable LED Driver: enables the LED driver connecting the on-board LEDs to GPIO Port2.0 - Port2.7.
- J13 - ETM: Enable ETM Interface: enables the Embedded Trace Module (ETM). Port2.0 - Port2.7 LEDs cannot be used when J13 is set because these pins share the same ETM signals.
Notes - Jumper J4 is labelled ETM on Version 2 MCB23xx boards and earlier.
- Jumper J13 is labelled JTAG on Version 2 MCB23xx boards and earlier.
