Power is supplied to the MCB2103 board on your PC using a standard USB connector.
The voltage regulators (IC3) and (IC7) generate 3.3 Volts DC and 1.8Volts DC respectively. The Power LED indicates when power is applied to the board. The on-board lithium battery supplies power to the CPU to maintain the real-time clock.
Caution: Do not attach additional power supplies (such as batteries) while the USB supplies power to the MCB2103. This may harm your PC!
