The MCB1700 board contains a standard USB "B" connector that supplies power to the board and allows the board to be configured as a USB device.
The MCB1700 boards also include two additional USB connectors:
- a USB "mini-B" connector for USB-OTG (On-The-Go) applications.
- a USB Micro AB connector for USB hosting applications.
The D+ and D- Jumpers configure the connectors for for OTG, Device or Host applications.
When the board is powered from an external power supply at VIN and the USB connector is needed for data exchange, the VBUS jumper should be removed.
