| Configuring the MCB1700The MCB1700 Evaluation Board is configured using the jumpers below. The MCB1700 Board ships with the following configuration: | Jumper | State | Description |

| Connects P2.8 for CAN2 or Ethernet use. | | D- | HOST
| Configures USB Line D- to HOST mode. | | D+ | HOST
| Configures USB Line D+ to HOST mode. | SPK
| ON | Connects AOUT (P0.26) via LF amplifier to the loudspeaker. | VBAT
| ON
| Connects the on-board battery to the VBAT pin.
| VDDIO
| ON
| Supplies 3.3 VDC to the VDDIO pin.
| VDDREG
| ON
| Supplies 3.3 VDC to the VDDREG pin.
| VBUS
| ON
| Supplies 5 VDC power to the board from the USB-B connector VBUS pin. | | UMODE | ON | Allows soft-connect of the USB device by issuing a software restart via P2.9 | | AD0.2 | ON | Connects POT1 potentiometer to AD0.2 for analog input. | | INT0 | ON | Enables the INT0 Push Button. | | RST | ON | Enables Reset via COM0. | | ISP | ON | Disables In-System Programming via COM0. | | LED | ON | Enables the P1.28, P1.29, P1.31, P2.2 - P2.6 LEDs. | | E/U | ON | Connects P2.9 to pin 1 of the UMODE jumper block. |
