NOSYMBOLS Linker Directive

Abbreviation	NOSY
Arguments	None.
Default	Local symbol information is included in the listing file and output file.
µVision	Options — LX51 Misc — Misc Controls.
Description	The NOSYMBOLS directive excludes debug information for local symbols (from the input files) from the listing file and output file. Local symbol information is used by emulators or the µVision Debugger to calculate and display values of local objects. Local symbol information is required only for program debugging and has no influence on the executable code. Refer to the PRINTCONTROLS directive to remove symbol information from the listing file only.
