| License ManagementThe µVision3 IDE includes a License Management Dialog you must use to license a Keil product. Note - Windows Vista Users -- When Installing or Uninstalling a License ID Code (LIC) on PCs running Windows Vista, make sure you start µVision3 by right-clicking the µVision3 icon, then selecting Run as Administrator from the context menu. This is because when you have User Account Control enabled in Windows Vista, and you log in as an Administrator, Windows Vista also logs you in as a Standard User.
From µVision3, select File from the menu bar, then License Management.
When opened, the License Management Dialog displays customer and licensed product information you may use to expand on unlicense previously licensed products as shown below.
The three tabs in this dialog are used to administer licenses: - Single-User License
This dialog page is where License ID Code (LIC) is entered for a Single-User License. - Floating-User License
This dialog page is where License ID Code (LIC) is entered for a Floating-User License. - Floating License Administrator
This dialog page is where the system administrator creates a server-based Floating License File for a Floating-User License. This file must be created before the product may be used. The Floating License File must be created on a network folder that is accessible to all users of the product.
