µVision includes a License Management dialog for licensing Keil software products. After the installation, you must license that product by registering your CID and PSN on the Keil website. You will be notified via an automated e-mail containing a LIC. Enter the LIC into the License Management dialog (refer to Terminology for abbreviations). The software can be licensed as:
- Single-User License
Allows registering software products for a single user on one workstation. - Floating-User License
Allows registering software products for multiple users in multiple workstations. - Flex-Floating License
This licensing method requires server that provides the is credentials. - Floating License Administrator
Allows administering Floating-User Licenses.
Open the License Management dialog via the µVision menu File - License Management.
Note
- When installing or removing a LIC on PCs running Windows Vista, right-click the µVision icon and select Run as Administrator from the context menu.
