The µVision IDE automatically checks licenses in and out as needed. By default, licenses are checked out for a minimum of one hour and are automatically checked in after that time.
µVision supports manual license check out and check in for situations that require a license for a long period of time (for example, when traveling with your portable computer). On the Floating-User License tab of the License Management dialog, you may click the Check Out... button to specify how long to check out a Floating-User License.
You may use the Check In button when you are ready to check in a license.
