µVision automatically checks-in and -out licenses as needed. By default, licenses are checked-out for one hour and are checked-in automatically after that time. The PC has to be connected to the network for the check-in and check-out process.
To check-out licences for a longer time (for example, when traveling):
- Open the dialog License Management.
- Click the tab Floating-User License.
- Click Check Out... and specify for how long to check-out a Floating-User License.
Click Check In to free a license manually. It might take up to 15 minutes until the license is available again.
