A Floating-User License allows a product to be used by multiple users on a multiple number of computers. Floating-User Licenses are available for most Keil Software products.

Floating-User Licenses require a file server that hosts a Floating License File (created from the µVision3 License Management Dialog by your system administrator or IT department).

After running the SETUP program to install a Keil Software product on a workstation, you must license that product by registering your CID and Floating License Code on the Floating-User License form on the Keil Website. After licensing the product, you will receive a LIC via e-mail which must be entered under the Floating-User Tab of the µVision3 License Management Dialog.
