| Floating License AdministratorThe Floating License Administrator is responsible for creating the Floating License File (*.FLF) on a network server and ensuring that it may be accessed from each workstation using a floating license. The Floating User File must be accessed from each workstation using the same identical Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path (for example, \\server\share\license). To create a Floating License File... - Open the dialog File - License Management... - Floating License Administrator.
- Enter the path where the Floating License File should be saved. Note that this folder must be a network drive.
- Enter the PSN of the Floating-User License.
- Click the Create FLF... button.
Note - If you do not have a PSN, contact the Keil Software Sales Department or your local Keil Software Distributor.
- It is impossible to change the path to the Floating License File after the first license has been obtained from the Keil web site. Make certain that the path you have selected is a proper file name path.
- The Floating License File must be accessible by each Floating-License User with the same identical Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path. Each user must have read/write access rights to this file.
- The Floating License File must be on a network drive of a central file server.
