FlexLM Client Setup

A FlexLM License allows using a software product by multiple users on multiple computers. FlexLM Licenses are available for some Keil products.

A FlexLM License overrides all other licensing methods for a product group. For example, you have installed a Single-User MDK-ARM Professional License and you install a FlexLM MDK-ARM Standard License, then the Single-User MDK-ARM Professional License gets disabled and the FlexLM MDK-ARM Standard License enabled.

FlexLM Licenses require a host server that provides the license credentials. The system administrator has to provide the URL prior to using the product.

Once the FlexLM License has been installed, you can Check out (borrow) the license for an extended period.
