L166 User's Guide

Introduction

The L166 Linker/Locator links object modules created using the Keil A166 Assembler and C166 C Compiler. Object modules created by these tools are relocatable and cannot be directly executed (even if they consist of only one source module). They must be converted into absolute object modules using the L166 Linker.

The following figure shows how C16x/ST10/XC16x object modules flow through the Keil tool chain.
