Toshiba TMPM330 Devices

Toshiba TMPM330 devices support all CoreSight features including ETM trace. No additional target resources are needed for debugging. By default, TMPM330 devices debugged in JTAG mode, and can be switched to Serial Wire Debug mode. TMPM330 devices offer ETM, ITM, and DWT trace data.

To use the CoreSight trace functionalities, the TMPM330 device, the debugger adapter and connector, as well as µVision have to be configured properly:

• Enable 4-Pin Trace (ETM)
• Enable Serial Wire Trace

Note

• Debug and trace operations are prohibited when the device's Security Function is enabled.
• The watchdog timer stops in debug mode.
• When PA0 and PB0 are configured as debug pins, output is enabled even in STOP mode, regardless of the SYSCR2<DRVE> or STBYCR2<DRVE> bit setting.
• When PA1 is configured as a debug pin, low-power mode is not fully effective. Configure PA1 as a general-purpose port, if the debug function is not used.
