Download Function

The Download Function section defines Flash operations that will take place when the application is downloaded to the target device (Flash — Download).

One of the Erase functions must be selected:

• Erase Full Chip — erases all Flash memory on the device prior to downloading the program.
• Erase Sectors — erases only the sectors used by the program to be downloaded.
• Do Not Erase — no Flash is erased.

Choose from the Program functions:

• Program — to download the program to Flash ROM.
• Verify — to compare the content of Flash ROM with the current µVision project program file. Differences are displayed in the Build Output window.
• Reset and Run — to execute the program after downloading and verifying it.
