MDK-ARM Primer

Develop Embedded Applications for AMR7, ARM9, and Cortex-M Microcontrollers with µVision^®4

This Primer provides an overview of the Keil MDK-ARM Microcontroller Development Kit and contains the following chapters:

• Introduction provides an overview of the development cycle and tools, and presents the default installation folder structure.
• Create Application describes how to create projects, edit and compile source files, fix syntax errors, and generate executable target programs.
• Flash Application describes how to setup ULINK for Flash programming via the JTAG interface.
• Debug Application describes the µVision4 debugger as hardware debugger and simulator.
• Use on-chip Peripherals shows how to access the on-chip peripherals with the development tools.
• Appendix: Migrate RL-ARM to MDK-Professional is a guide for porting USB and Flash File System projects to MDK-Professional. The license status is explained.
