The Philips 89LPC93x microcontroller (IC1) provided with the EPM900 board is an 8051-based microcontroller with 2 clock highspeed core, 8K Bytes ISP/IAP Flash, and USB capabilities.
A 12.0 MHz crystal (Q1) provides the clock signal for the CPU.
