Linking and Locating

After assembly of all modules, the L166 Linker/Locator processes the object module files by assigning absolute memory locations to all the relocatable sections, and combining sections with the same name and type. The L166 Linker resolves all references to symbols between modules. It produces an absolute object module file with the completed program and summary listing file containing results of the link/locate process.
