µVISION DEBUGGER: MOUSE OVER ARRAY NAME CAUSES CRASH

QUESTION

I have six large (900 element) floating point arrays defined, two are huge and four are far and I am using the small memory model. During a debug session, if I hover the pointer over an array name I get the following windows error:

This application has commited an illegal operation.

µVision Version 2 is then shut down. Is there a newer version of µVision with this bug fixed?

ANSWER

Contact our sales department with your serial number in order to obtain a version of µVision with this bug fixed.

A workaround is to avoid leaving the pointer over array names.
