µVISION1: SETTING UP THE PL/M-51 COMPILER

SYMPTOMS

I have a project which contains a PL/M-51 file, however, when µVision attempts to call the compiler, I get the following:

Could not execute translator

How do I tell µVision where the PL/M-51 compiler is located?

RESOLUTION

Copy the PLM51.EXE file into the C51\BIN directory. There are also a couple of .LIB library files that the PL/M-51 compiler requires. These should be placed in the C51\LIB directory.
