QUESTION

I am using RTX166 v2.0 and I am receiving the following error message:

Linker Warning: empty sections encountered.  RTX TRAP and SWTC2.

This warning appeared after I linked in the RTX library. What is the linker looking for?

ANSWER

You may ignore the "EMPTY SECTIONS ENCOUNTERED" message. This is a problem that is corrected in Version 3. This warning has no influence on the program run of RTX166 (refer to the README.TXT file provided with RTX166).

Contact our sales department or your local distributor to upgrade to C166 Version 3 or RTX166 Version 3.
