Product Information | BL51: BURNING EPROM FROM BL51 FILESInformation in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSTribal Microsystem Eprom burners (TEP-101 and Gang-08) start address can not be set above FFFFh for hex format files. So it appears I am "stuck" with binary code since the Tribal burners allow any start address for binary format files. But in the binary files, I can't tell where the common code ends and the banks start. Any ideas? RESOLUTIONYou may use the OC51 Banked Object File Converter to split up the banked object file into separate absolute object files for each code bank. At this point, you can just run OH51 and the Hex-to-Bin converter on each file in turn, and program them that way, assured of the accuracy of the file breaks, and working around the limitation of the eprom burner.
