µVISION1: LOCK-UP WHEN STARTED
Information in this article applies to:
- µVision Version 1.00
- C51 Version 5.50
SYMPTOMS
When I run µVision, it locks up. I have a Matrox G200 graphics card in my machine.
CAUSE
Currently unknown, believed to be an inconsistency in a version of the display driver for the card.
RESOLUTION
Turning off graphics aceleration may help, but the best solution is to obtain the latest display driver from Matrox. Version 4.11.01.1000 is known to work. You may also need to install the latest Matrox flash Bios update. Version 3.51 is known to work.
