QUESTION

Do the compiler and assembler set the DOS error level that I can check in my BATCH files?

ANSWER

Yes, all our tools set the DOS errorlevel to one of the following values: 

0 -- Successful with no errors or warnings
1 -- Warnings
2 -- Errors (and possibly Warnings)
3 -- Fatal Errors
