µVISION1: LINT FROM WITHIN µVISION

I'm using Windows 95 and I can't get PC-Lint to run from µVision. It only runs as an application external to the IDE. What's wrong?

The problem may be a configuration parameter in the program settings for UVWINRUN. To correct it...

Open Windows Explorer.
From the /C51/BIN, /C251/BIN, or /C166/BIN directory, select the shortcut for UVWINRUN.
Click the right mouse button to bring up the menu and select Properties.
Select the Advanced button from the Program tab.
Make sure "Prevent MS-DOS-based programs from detecting Windows" is NOT checked.

This solves the PC-Lint problem on some machines.
