Licensing Error Code 5151

Information in this knowledgebase article applies to:

When attempting to license your Keil product, you are met with error code 5151.

"A problem was encountered with your Serial Number. Please contact Technical Support and report code 5151 for assistance with your installation. They will work quickly to help you obtain the proper license code for your product."


Your Product Serial Number has been marked invalid. This may be due to:

  • Converting the license to Flex or Floating
  • Renewal of support
  • License upgrade


Contact your license admin for the new PSN, or contact Technical Support
