OHS51: FATAL ERRORS AFTER UPGRADING

QUESTION

I recently upgraded my Franklin 8051 tools to Keil and now, when I invoke OHS51, I get a fatal error:

Invalid record type encountered.

Then, OHS51 aborts. What's going on?

ANSWER

The OHS51 file converter is part of the older Keil releases. It is not included in the Keil software release after Version 4. If you use OH51 from the latest release, this problem goes away.
