C51: Does CA51/PK51 support Sinowealth 8-Bit Flash MCUs?

QUESTION

Does the Keil CA51/PK51 support the Sinowealth 8-bit microcontroller series SH79xx and SH88xx which have a 8051 core?

ANSWER

These devices are not part of the Keil Device Database, but Sinowealth provides an Add-On Installer for Keil software development tools (see Flash Device Library). This add-on installer contains a µVision compatible Device Database as well as driver for various debug- and programming adapter and device header files. This is everything you need to develop software for these devices. First, Keil CA51 or PK51 must be installed and then the Sinowealth add-on installer because some µVision files need to be modified.
