MDK MIDDLEWARE: Check for File System Corruption in FAT FS

QUESTION

We can use fcheck() in Embedded File System (EFS) to check for file system corruption.

Is such a function also available for FAT File System (FAT FS) to determine file system corruption?

ANSWER

Unfortunately, no such function is available to check a FAT file system corruption.

However, in order to avoid file system corruption in the FAT file system, FAT Journaling can be used.
