MCB1200: Pin 30 on PIO0 header not connected

Information in this knowledgebase article applies to:

  • MCB1200 Evaluation Board (Version 1)

SYMPTOM

I removed R38 and connected an external signal to the PIO0_30 pin on the provided header. But my measured voltage does not match my external signal at all.

CAUSE

Unfortunately there was a production error. Despite showing the PIO0_30 header pin connected in the schematic of the board (version 1.2), it is actually not connected.

RESOLUTION

Add a wire to connect PIO0_30 from the R38 pads or the AD0 pin of the potentiometer. When attaching a wire to the pads of R38 be careful to not stress this connection to much, as the pads will break easily.
