C51: SOME HLP FILES DON'T WORK UNDER WINDOWS

QUESTION

There are a lot of .HLP files in our PK51 BIN directory. Some of these are windows help files, but many are not. What should I use to view these files with?

ANSWER

Some of those .HLP files are for the DOS versions of the tools. When you run µVision for DOS, it uses these files to display on-line help. The same is true for the DOS versions of dScope and tScope.
