ULINK: CANNOT ACCESS MEMORY ON TI LM3S9B96 DEVICEInformation in this knowledgebase article applies to:
PROBLEMI have a TI DK-LM3S9B96 RevB1 development board which has downloaded properly in the past, but now when I try to start the debugger or download to Flash using ULINK2 or ULINKPro, I get the following message: Cannot Access Memory I have tried the Unlock option in TI's LMFlash Programmer (Build 1218) using the ICDI (Eval board) interface, but it fails to initialize the target. I then tried the sequence suggested in the Stellaris® LM3S9B96 RevB1 Errata, (Section 1.2 The Recover Locked Device sequence does not work as expected), but it also fails to initialize the target. Is there a way to recover my board? SOLUTIONIn your µVision project:
Your board should enter debug mode or download normally now. If it does not, perform the Unlock procedure in TI's LM Flash Programmer again. You may have to run Unlock more than once. Then try the download again using ULINK2 or ULINKpro. MORE INFORMATIONSEE ALSO
