QUESTION

What is the best way to connect ULINK2 to the TI/Luminary EK-LM3S9B9x Evaluation boards?

ANSWER

Use the 10-pin ARM connector and 10-pin cable supplied with ULINK2 to connect directly to the JTAG/SWD connector on the EK-LM3S9B9x board.

You may power the EK-LM3S9B9x board directly from J5, or via the ICDI board. Just be sure to set SW1 (WARNING: REMOVE POWER from the EK-LM3S9B9x board before changing SW1) to USB if powering from J5, or to EXT if powering from the ICDI board.
