LICENSE: GET "NO LICENSE AVAILABLE" AFTER LICENSING

SYMPTOM

After installing a floating-user LIC, when building a ARM7, ARM9 or Cortex-M project an R227 error (CURRENTLY NO LICENSE AVAILABLE) displays, but the Current Users count in the License Management dialog is zero.

CAUSE

Your Windows User Account does not have Modify permissions for the Floating License File (FLF) you selected.

RESOLUTION

Have your IT administrator change your Windows User Account to allow read, write and modify access to that file.
