ARM: ARM:SIMULATING LPC2478 LCD CONTROLLER

Information in this knowledgebase article applies to:

SYMPTOM

The simulator branches to the Data Abort handler every time the program tries to access the LCD controller registers on the LPC2478 device.

CAUSE

Previous version of the simulator did not have the LCD controller registers mapped into memory space.

RESOLUTION

Download the attached file, and unzip the contents into C:\Keil\ARM\BIN, replacing the previous version.

STATUS

Fixed in a future release
