SYMPTOMWhen I try to run a program that calls the Keil tools, such as a batch file or the µVision IDE, I receive the following error: R206: NO REGISTRY ACCESS, ADMINISTRATION RIGHTS REQUIRED but I am logged in with an Administrators account. What can cause this? CAUSEµVision requires administrator privileges to access license information. If you have User Account Control enabled in Windows Vista or Windows 7, and you log in as an Administrator, Windows Vista or Windows 7 also logs you in as a Standard User. Depending on how a program gets set up, Windows could run this using the Standard User login. RESOLUTIONWhenever you run µVision or a batch file that calls the Keil tools, right click on the icon and select Run as Administrator from the context menu. You may also get a similar message when attempting to enter a license for your Keil tools. In this case, you need to:
