MCBXC88X: USB-COM DRIVER DOES NOT INSTALL

QUESTION
I have a new MCBXC888 or MCBXC886 Board and would like to install the driver for the USB-COM bridge, but the device driver does not install.
Is there a new version?
ANSWER
Yes. Infineon changed the initialization process for the on-board MCU. Because of this, the new MCBXC888 or MCBXC886 boards require a new version of the USB-COM driver.
Please download the attachment from this knowledgebase article and it should install fine after that.
