µVISION DEBUGGER: BOOTLOADING THE PHYTEC LPC3180

QUESTION

Downloading a program larger than 16k on a Phytec LPC3180 Evaluation Board causes the program to run erratically, or not at all. If the program is less than 16k it loads and runs OK.

Is this a known problem?

ANSWER

Yes. On MDK-ARM versions 3.10 and earlier, the Bootloader example program may not load application programs larger than 16k properly. Download Version 3.11 to obtain the updated example project.
