µVISION DEBUGGER: DTC INTERFACE NO LONGER WORKS

• µVision3 IDE Version 3.50 or higher

QUESTION

I have tried Application Note 170: Development Tool Connection (DTC) Interface. But it seems that the DTC Interface does no longer work.

Is there a known issue in µVision3 Version 3.5 and later?

ANSWER

The DTC interface is replaced by the more advanced more advanced . This is a new TCP/IP based interface that provides more features and is easier to implement across different applications.
