ARMCC: REALVIEW COMPILER OPTIONS

Information in this article applies to:

  • MDK-ARM V3.10

QUESTION

I understand the RealView compiler supplied with MDK-ARM professional developer's kit is a derivative of the RealView compiler used in the ARM RealView Development Suite. I'm familiar with the RVDS compiler options. Does the MDK-ARM version support the same options? If not, what options aren't supported?

ANSWER

The MDK-ARM RealView compiler supports nearly the same options as the RVDS RealView compiler. The following four RVDS compiler options are not supported in the MDK-ARM version:

  • --cpu
  • --[no_]dllexport_all
  • --[no_]dllimport_runtime
  • --[no_]vectorize
