µVISION DEBUGGER: DISPLAYING SPI DIALOG STOPS DEBUGGER

QUESTION

When I debug the Atmel AT89S8252, AT89S53 SPI Example Program and try to display the SPI peripheral dialog, the SPI dialog does not display and the debugger crashes. Is there a fix for this?

ANSWER

Yes. Download the update from the Attached Files section below, and extract these file into your C:\KEIL\C51\BIN\ folder.

This update will be included in V8.07 and subsequent C51 releases.
