ULINK: ULINK2 ADAPTER NOT RECOGNIZED

QUESTION

I just purchased a ULINK2 adapter but it doesn't communicate with my target board. I tried an older ULINK adapter and it works OK. Is there something wrong with my ULINK2 adapter?

ANSWER

You have an old version of software that does not support ULINK2. You must have the following software installed (or later) to use the ULINK2 adapter:

• MDKARM — V3.04
• C166 — V6.06
• C51 — V8.06
