µVISION DEBUGGER: CANNOT DEBUG ON LUMINARY LM3S811-EV BOARD

SYMPTOM

Whenever I try to debug a program on the Luminary LM3S811-EV demo board, µVision3 locks up, and I need to kill and restart it, to get it to respond again.

CAUSE

There was an issue with certain versions of the ARM debugger, that caused the µVision3 IDE to become unresponsive.

RESOLUTION

Download the attached file.

Unzip it into C:\Keil\ARM\BIN, replacing the old version, already there.
