MCB2130: IN-SYSTEM PROGRAMMING PROBLEM

Information in this article applies to:

  • MCB2130 Evaluation Boards

QUESTION

My application uses ISP routines for In-Application Programming (IAP) on a MCB2130 Board with the NXP (founded by Philips) LPC2138 device. Apparently, the ISP routines require timer 1, because when I use timer 1 in my application, the ISP routines fail. Is this a known problem?

ANSWER

Yes. The ISP programming routines require that timer 1 is in reset state. Otherwise ISP does not work on the LPC2000 devices.
