QUESTION

I just installed Windows Media Center on My PC and now when I build my project, µVision is running in Evaluation Mode. What happened? How do I fix this?

ANSWER

Your current License ID Code (LIC) no longer matches your PC configuration, which is why µVision runs in Evaluation Mode.

Before you change your PC hardware or perform a major change to your operating system, always uninstall your µVision LIC using the Uninstall button in the License Management dialog. After your changes are complete, click the Get LIC Via Internet... button to obtain a new LIC.

If you didn't uninstall your LIC prior to the hardware or software change, contact Keil Technical Support for assistance.
