µVISION DEBUGGER: ERROR 59 WHEN UPDATING FLASH

SYMPTOM

Why does µVision3 give me the following, when I try to update flash?

error 59: invalid absolute module

CAUSE

The debugger could not recognize one or more macro names, in the absolute object module.

RESOLUTION

We have updated the ARM debugger module, to recognize the macro names, now stored in the AXF object file. This is a new feature in v3.03.

Download the attached file and unzip it into C:\Keil\ARM\Bin

STATUS

Fixed in update.
