LICENSE: CAN I COMPILE WITH AN EXPIRED LICENSE?

QUESTION

On the License Management dialog, the text for one of my products is in red and the Support Period date says it is expired.  When I compile will the full compiler and linker versions be used as before?

ANSWER

Yes.  The text on this screen is red to bring to your attention that your maintenance and support agreement has expired for that product.  That product will still compile, link and debug as it did before the expiration period.  You are not eligible for product updates or technical support for that license/PSN until you renew the maintenance agreement.
