µVISION1: V1.31 UPDATE CRASHES

QUESTION

I just downloaded the µVision V1.31 Update and ran the SETUP.EXE program. It runs up to 100% and then just locks up. If I exit the installation program, µVision doesn't work anymore. It reports that there are no toolsets available and just exits. Is there a fix for this?

ANSWER

Yes. This problem happens only on a few machines and only with the SETUP program from the install disk. We have corrected the installation program and it is now on the world wide web. Please re-download the update from the following URL:

http://www.keil.com/update/

and run the new SETUP program.
