QUESTION

The monitor on my MCB520 evaluation board does not appear to work. What's wrong?

ANSWER

A few evaluation boards made it out the door with a blank EPROM. You may download the HEX file from our web site at the following links:

• T1P1_11.ZIP: This monitor uses timer 1 and serial port 1 with an oscillator running at 11.0592MHz.
• T1P1_33.ZIP: This monitor uses timer 1 and serial port 1 with an oscillator running at 33MHz. (DEFAULT)
• T2P0_11.ZIP: This monitor uses timer 2 and serial port 0 with an oscillator running at 11.0592MHz.
• T2P0_33.ZIP: This monitor uses timer 2 and serial port 0 with an oscillator running at 33MHz.

Choose the file that best suits your needs.
